| To make this amazing time in your lives extraordinary, we have taken great care in making our obstetrics unit as comfortable as possible while still allowing state of the art medical care. We are here for you to make your special event even more special. Our comfortable, home-like birthing rooms are popular with mothers and fathers. When needed, a nearby surgical suite is prepared to perform caesarean sections when necessary. |

| Birth, however, is not the beginning or the end of the quality care you will receive through the Fulton County Health Center. We are there for you during those special months of preparation for your new arrival. Through our Partners in Pregnancy Program, our nurses meet with the expectant mother to discuss a healthier pregnancy, birth, personal care and childcare. |
|
| That's not all! We also prepare you for your new arrival with Childbirth Education Classes, Refresher Classes, Caesarean Classes, Breast Feeding Classes, Shape Up For Motherhood Fitness Classes, and Sibling Classes. These classes are all a part of a comprehensive program designed to ensure peace of mind during this joyful time. Our Certified Lactation Consultant is available by phone or appointment to answer questions before or after birth. |
