Fast Track Emergency Care

Even though your emergency may not be critical, it's still important to you and to us. That’s why we developed a new service in our expanded Emergency Department called Fast Track.

Fast Track is the name of a new emergency care system being offered by the Health Center. The Fast Track program is designed to operate when physician offices are closed for medical conditions that may not be life threatening but still needs immediate medical attention.
The Fast Track program is located right in the Emergency Department. Patients who come to our Emergency Department are assessed by our Triage Nurse, who determines if Fast Track is appropriate for the presenting medical condition or if a higher level of care is needed.
Our Fast Track program is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 6:00PM to 12:00 midnight Monday through Friday and 4:00PM to 12:00 midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
Conditions Commonly Treated at Fast Track

Through our Fast Track Emergency Care program, patients can receive prompt diagnosis and treatment for non-critical illnesses and injuries such as:
• Colds
• Flu
• Sprains
• Strains
• Minor Injuries
• Some Insect bites (Any symptoms of anaphylactic shock, such as difficulty breathing or a swollen tongue, should be treated in the Emergency Department)
• Rashes
• Simple cuts
• Most types of nausea and/or diarrhea
• Respiratory infections
• Sinusitis
• Sore throats
• Ear & eye conditions such as earache, drainage from the eye and pink eye
